Ryan Toshner owns and operates TNT Performance and has been a fitness coach since 2006. He has instructed kettlebell classes since autumn of 2008 and is currently one of only three (3) RKC - Level 2 certified instructors in Wisconsin.
Ryan is a fitness enthusiast and athlete of 21 years, actively involved in competitive and recreational sports since age 9. He has played baseball his entire life and was a college wrestler at UW-Whitewater. In his early 30s, Ryan is in the best cardiovascular shape of his life and stronger than ever; due, in no small part, to kettlebells.
Ryan has primarily used kettlebells for his own workouts since Sept. 2007. He learned of them when reviewing the training program for the ultra fit cast of the movie 300. The full body benefits attained through full-body motion and core strength struck a chord with him. He found the RKC certification program (the highest quality kettlebell instruction available in the US) and began preparing for the rigorous physical and mental test. He earned his RKC certification in April 2008 and has trained clients since. Always looking to expand his knowledge, instructor skills, and personal physical limits, he attended the Certified Kettlebell - Functional Movement Specialist certification in May 2009 and the RKC - Level 2 certification in June 2009. He was also invited to be an assistant instructor at both the RKC II (July 2010) and RKC (September 2011) certifications.
Ryan's clients are women and men, active and inactive, and range in age from 13 to 65. His classes are interesting and fun and he makes them equally challenging for varying fitness levels. He guides people to improve overall fitness whether their goals are weight loss, strength and toning, endurance, flexibility, or simply maintaining an active lifestyle.
Ryan uses kettlebells to take himself to the next level (in half the time of his pre-kettlebell workouts). He is an effective instructor because he knows how kettlebells deliver results (no matter what they are) in less time than you might think. He can help you achieve specific goals with short, productive workouts made up of quality exercises.
Ryan's enthusiasm for kettlebell training is as addictive as the exercise itself. He is responsible for 4 individuals becoming RKC certified. Combine that with the life changing benefits realized and touted by his clients and you begin to understand his excitement for kettlebell training. Ryan believes that everyone with a fitness goal should train with kettlebells.

Meagan Pollak is an RKC instructor who will teach, push, and talk you through a workout when you think you can do no more all with a smile on her face. She has been working out with kettlebells for 1.5 years and earned her RKC certification in June, 2009. She is an avid marathon and triathlon athlete who has been active in competitive sports and outdoor recreation her entire life.
Having run the gamut of seeking new ways to stay in shape and keep workouts exciting, nothing has worked for Meagan like kettlebells. She learned about kettlebells while involved in various cardio, weight, and circuit training programs as well as Pilates. Initially, like many women, she was hesitant to weight train with kettlebells thinking they would add
bulk.
After working with them for a short period, she discovered that the endurance and core strength benefits have improved her performance in various activities. Most notably, Meagan shaved 26 minutes off her first marathon after incorporating kettlebells in the training.Due to her commitment to fitness and always training for her next race, kettlebells were a natural match for her interests. Other aspects of kettlebells that have kept Meagan engaged are the short durations of effective workouts, results, versatility, and mobility. Meagan hasn't belonged to a traditional gym in 4 years and is in the best shape of her life.
Meagan knows how to keep kettlebell workouts interesting, creative, challenging, and she rarely, if ever, repeats workouts. Her clients have varying goals including healthier lifestyle, fat loss, endurance, and strength & toning. Her clients are across the board as far as fitness level. She trains athletes and folks just beginning to get healthier. She is a passionate trainer who can deliver results to her clients. She enjoys the challenge of helping people achieve their goals and, in most cases, exceed them.
Often times, after a short timeframe of consistently using kettlebells, her clients are stronger than they realize. It's a thrill for her to see people do physical things they've never done. So, who should train with kettlebells? According to Meagan,
Everyone, regardless of fitness level. Many people think they need to get in shape before using them. In reality, kettlebells will get them on the right track very quickly.
